LedgerLabs
Becoming the answer Perplexity gives fintech buyers.
LedgerLabs wanted to future-proof organic growth as buyers moved from Google to AI answer engines. We built a dual-track SEO + GEO program.
What we did
We started with a full technical audit and entity map. LedgerLabs had a decent content library but weak schema, thin internal linking, and almost no citations in generative engines. We fixed the technical foundations in month one — schema coverage went from 18% to 94%, Core Web Vitals turned green, and indexation hygiene was sorted. Then we rebuilt the content program around topical clusters tied to ICP pain points, each cluster anchored by a pillar designed to be citation-worthy: statistics-led, original-research, formatted for answer extraction. We ran a parallel digital PR program that earned 47 editorial backlinks over nine months. And we instrumented AI visibility tracking — monitoring ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews weekly for our target queries. By month six, LedgerLabs was the top-cited source on Perplexity for 14 high-intent queries. By month nine, non-brand organic traffic was up 212%, and pipeline attributed to organic was up 3.4×.
